Market research firm Omdia has released a report indicating that the Chinese generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software market is experiencing rapid growth. The report shows that by 2024, China's GenAI software revenue is expected to reach $1.8 billion, approximately 13.1 billion yuan. In his annual open letter, Bill Gates predicts that artificial intelligence will trigger a technological explosion, accelerating new discoveries in the tech field. Over the next 18 to 24 months, widespread use of AI among the populace in developed countries will impact productivity and innovation. Gates is particularly focused on the application of AI in developing nations, emphasizing equity in global health. Gates stresses that AI applications need to be adjusted according to each country's situation to better suit local realities.
